OWLS Survival Birthday Parties – Dublin

OWLS Survival Birthday Parties – Dublin can now be booked offering a fun day out for your children and something that your child and their friends are sure to remember for a long time.  Ideal for kids who love being outdoors, the OWLS Survival Party is a great adventure to offer children and their friends.  They’ll have 2 hours of fun in the outdoors, with the opportunity to play and create for themselves but also learning about their surroundings. It all takes place under the careful supervision of OWLS leaders and children’s parents.

OWLS Survival Birthday Parties – Dublin

The parties are based on the theme of survival and incorporate education, awareness, team building and enjoyment.  The group are given a challenge to build shelters using natural materials, light a fire to toast marshmallows or cook popcorn and also be sure that their team wins the forest games.  Teams must survive by hiding within their shelter or how about capturing a person from the other team?  It’s all great fun and the group finish the experience with cooked popcorn and singing around the campfire.

Leaders are Gardai vetted and follow strict guidelines when working with children.  For each event, at least one leader is first aid trained.

Sites: As this is an outdoor service, there is an option of two sites. Fitzsimon’s Wood, Dundrum (Southside) or Turvey Park, Donabate (Northside).

The OWLS leaders will provide the resources to run the event.  The childrens’ parents / guardians may provide refreshments should they wish to. From experience, most guardians bring along snacks, drinks and we finish off the party with a cake.

Fees; For the first 15 children €150, there after €250.
Other facilities: There are no toilets at either location although we can hire day porto loos, but this will add to the cost.  Portaloos are €100 a day to hire.

Birthday parties at Rumley’s farm offer children and parents the opportunity to experience a real working farm.  Children will get the opportunity to feed and hold animals – both cuddly and large as well as a very varied collection of fowl -animals that children would normally never get close to.

The ethos of the farm is as much about learning as it is fun, so everyone who attends (yes parents included) are guaranteed to have a great day out.

The Main Event

The main birthday attraction is our tractor tour around the complete farm with a number of stop off activities to find out about the animals, feed them and discover how the farm works.  All activities will be tailored to the age group of the party.  While this is definitely a big hit with the children it is our experience that adults enjoy the trip as much as the children.

Things that usually attract the most attention on the tour are holding our day old chicks, camel and monkey feeding and of course a visit to our rabbit village.

Splatball

Splatball is a great new adventure for kids and adults ages 7 and over. For the first time kids as young as seven can enjoy running around our great game zones, learning to aim at our targets and playing low impact real paintball-type games. Selected times are available seven days a week for groups of six or more players. Whatever your celebration, come out and play at Westport Adventure Park for an unforgettable adventure and quality time with friends and family also very popular with Hen parties and anyone who may be wary of traditional Paintball.

We use Low velocity Splatball guns that fire coloured & filled round ammo resulting in a splat. The ammo is 100% biodegradable, non toxic, resists stain and easily washes away with water.
Splatguns are spring loaded and shoot at a velocity of 110-140 feet per second. At this speed you can see the ammo in the air before you see the satisfaction of your splat!
When arriving for your Splatball experience you will start by getting kitted up in all the camo gear, receive a demonstration and safety briefing, then it’s off to the game zones to see who can complete the course and win the most points for their team.
A fantastic alternative to paintball that the you’ll talk about for weeks!

Zorb Wars & Bubble Soccer

Zorb Wars is the latest craze that is keeping everyone in Ireland bouncing and rolling around fields, indoor courts and astroturf.
By wearing body zorbs while playing a football style game, along with many other activities, crashing into each other while Knocking down players from the opposite team, they will just bounce or roll around the play area. Being inside a body zorb does make the game a lot more interesting as anyone can play it rough without fear of pain!
Athletic skills are not necessary. Play Zorb Wars or Bubble Soccer and have non-stop fun with family,  friends and team mates. We have full insurance to cover all our events and our professionally trained team will ensure you have a great day out.

Assault Course

Westport Adventure Park has one of the newest and challenging assault courses in the West of Ireland. Suitable for all ages (with a selection of difficulty options on certain elements) they can accommodate family groups, school tours, birthday parties, corporate groups along with Hens & Stags!

Test your stamina by running and crawling as fast as you can from the start to the finish line, your on the clock so don’t waste a second!  There is a twist (obviously!)…..balance and strategy also play a big part.
