About us

At Tearaways Pet Farm & Activity Centre we provide indoor and outdoor activities to keep all the family happy and active, whatever the weather. We have a new purpose built 6,000 square foot indoor activity centre with slides, crawling tunnels, ball pits and a separate toddler area. Tearaways has a coffee shop for you to relax in whilst your kids play and have fun. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the viewing area. You can purchase various hot and cold food and drinks. Our outdoor facilities include our Pet Farm, outdoor playground, sports area and go-cart track. We have lots of friendly animals to see including our goats, pigs, ponies, emu, sheep, calves, and our Scottish Highlander.

Splatmaster Junior Paintball

Splatmaster is a low impact tag combat sport that shoots color filled round Ammo resulting in a Splat. The Ammo is 100% biodegradable, non toxic, resists stains, and easily washes away with water.

After a short safety briefing, you play against other players in a number of game scenarios such as Territories and Capture the flag. You will feel some impact (or the game doesn’t work), but it is much more tame than regular Paintball. Splatmaster is safe, fun, thoroughly enjoyable and suitable for ages 8-12s.

Splatmaster is played in a realistic game zone similiar to Airsoft. This goes down well with the kiddies who are not old enough yet to play Airsoft. It is a tamer version of Airsoft so ideal for children aged 8 and up. We can accommodate large groups or if you are only a few players you can join our popular open Splatmaster skirmishes each month. Archery Tag is soaring in popularity, propelled by the Hunger Games series and hit TV shows Game of Thrones and Walking Dead in which bows feature prominently as the weapon of choice.

Developed in the US, Archery Tag pits two teams against each other in a dodgeball-type battle. But instead of balls, players try to take each other out with custom-made, foam tipped arrows. Unlike Paintball, you won’t get bruised or hurt all over for days!

The official version of the game is played by two teams with five players each, but it can be played with teams consisting of as few as four players or as many as 10.
