Easter Egg Trail –On Sunday 21st April take part in our drop-in Easter Egg Hunt at Airfield Estate. Running from 10 am – 3 pm and each participant will be presented with a Dr. Coys treat at the end.

Easter Bunny Walk –Explore our Easter trail in your own time throughout the Easter holidays, bouncing off from the 13th April until the 28th April.

Name The Jersey Calf –The youngest member of our Jersey herd is looking forward to seeing you all over the Easter holidays down in the farmyard. We’re looking for your help to name her! Post a picture and tell us your name suggestion using #airfieldcalf – prize of a place on our Young Farmer class on 19th May.

Jacob Lambs – Skipping around the fields are our new Jacob lambs

Egg Collection –If you’re here by 10 am, join our team while they collect our hens eggs.

Trail Walks –Explore our miles of trails through the woodland, organic and ornamental gardens.

New Grey Barn –A unique space for the under 3’s which has just undergone a facelift showcasing the story of milk.

Family Lunch in Overends Kitchen – Celebrate Easter Sunday with a set lunch served by the award-winning team in Overends. Bookings are a must, so reserve your table today.

Storytime – Every day during Easter holidays we’ll have storytime taking place in Airfield House with a selection of our best-loved stories. Drop in daily at 12.30 & 2 pm.

Airfield Estate Dublin is a large working farm and gardens open to the public all year round. Monday 17th April at 3pm

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt through the Demesne. The Easter Bunny is making a welcome return to Ardgillan and will be hiding his eggs around the park for all the boys and girls to find.

He has promised to be here on the day and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

  • Find a plastic egg and return with your ticket to collect your prize.
  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and have no cash value.

About Ardgillan Castle Demense

Ardgillan Castle and Demesne is situated in North County Dublin on an elevated coastline between Balbriggan and Skerries, 32 kilometers north of Dublin City. The demesne is well signposted off the M1. The park consists of 194 acres of rolling open grassland, mixed woodland and gardens, overlooking the Irish Sea with views of Mourne Mountains to the north and Lambay to the south-east.

Visitors can enjoy outdoor walks through wooded areas with splendid views of Dublin bay. Explore forest trails leading to the large outdoor playground that offers lots of of activities, including pirate ship, slides, climbing frames and swings. Easter event Croke Park Dublin – Hunt for Easter Eggs in Croke Park!

Join the staff of the GAA Museum on a special guided tour of Croke Park in the run-up to Easter….follow the clues and find the tokens to collect your Easter Eggs!

The Croke Park Easter Egg Trail departs from the GAA Museum at 11.30am and 1.30pm every day from Wednesday 23rd March – Monday 28th March (except Friday 25th March). There are additional tours on Easter Sunday and Monday.

During the tours, younger visitors must follow the clues and find the tokens to collect their Easter Eggs! Each tour takes a look behind the scenes at Croke Park including a visit to the Players’ Lounge, dressing rooms, warm-up area and pitch-side walk-way as well as a trip to the top tier to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the stadium

Easter egg hunters can also explore the GAA Museum by following the trail of Cluasóg the Irish hare- the leader of the new junior explorer route aimed at children between 4 and 10 years old.

There is also the opportunity to test hurling and football skills in the museum’s interactive games zone.
