The Cheerios Panto Sleeping Beauty

The Cheerios Panto celebrates its 10th year at The Tivoli Theatre this year with the spectacular Sleeping Beauty. Sammy Sausages and Buffy (Alan Hughes & Rob Murphy), are back with another hilarious adventure, following on from last year’s magical production of Aladdin, their fastest selling panto. Priding themselves on entertaining the whole family from 3 to 93, The Cheerios panto has been called “Panto Perfection”. Written once again by Ireland’s foremost panto writer, Karl Broderick, in his 20th panto creation, it promises to be their best ever panto and runs from 7 December – 14 January.

An Evil Queen casts a spell on the baby princess and she is destined to prick her finger on a spinning wheel. Can the Handsome Prince save the day? Will Sammy Sausages defeat the Evil Queen? And will Buffy finally get her hands on a daddy? Maybe now that she’s been called ‘Queen of the Dames!’

Cinderella The Helix Dublin

Cinderella – Pantomime at The Helix

Christmas 2014

November 28th, 2014 – January 11th, 2015

TheatreworX Productions, the hugely successful team behind the last six pantomimes at The Helix including Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, and Jack and the Beanstalk return for their seventh panto with their latest hilarious adaption of Cinderella. Join our stunning Cinderella (Megan Cassidy) on a journey through the panto-sphere of fun and excitement as she proves that a new pair of shoes really can change a girls life, when she meets her gorgeous Prince Charming (Chris Currid). Donning some rather stylish outfits this year, our panto stalwarts and audience favourites Eoin Cannon & Aidan Mannion return as Cinders’ Ugly sisters who will make it their business to make Cinders as miserable as possible. They are joined again by the hilarious Colin Hughes as Buttons and Adam Lynch as Dandini who both return for their sixth panto. Our Wicked Stepmother (Mary Murray) will take a break from Love/Hate and instead love to hate our Cinders this Christmas, but will be kept in check by the beautiful Fairy Godmother (Erica Delaney Hayes) who will ensure that Cinderella will indeed go to the ball.

Cinderella will dance all night at The Helix this year as our hilarious panto will once again have our audience on their feet and dancing in the aisles. Enjoy the best value Christmas has to offer at The Helix this year. With the funniest panto in town, onsite parking and Santa’s Grotto, The Helix Panto is the perfect family choice this Christmas.

“Clever wise-cracking, lavish costumes, elegant choreography and subtle satire” Joyce Hickey, The Irish Times (Aladdin 2011/12)
