Roll Up, Roll Up for Santa’s Christmas Circus at The Square!
Santa Claus is back with a bang this Christmas at The Square Tallaght as part of the shopping centre’s Circus theme extravaganza featuring:
Santa’s Grotto, Giant Ferris Wheel and Funfair, Ireland’s only 4D virtual reality sleigh ride and a host of free weekly entertainment
Kicks off Saturday, 19th November!
Celebrations are kicking off this weekend to mark the launch of The Square’s Christmas experience and all are invited!
Saturday 19th November sees the opening of Santa’s Grotto, Funfair and VR Sleigh Ride, against a backdrop of big-top theme décor, and show-stopping line up of family entertainment.
The launch weekend fun takes place on both Saturday and Sunday, with free daily circus theme shows and performers, carnival games, face painting, balloons and lots more, as well as a special screening of The Greatest Showman in the new Movies@TheSquare cinema on Sunday, and outdoor funfair running to 9pm daily.
With Christmas experiences filling up fast this year, families can book in now to see Santa at The Square from Nov 19th right up to Christmas Eve. There are lots of added attractions over the festive period for a complete day out, including activities for all ages and plenty of free weekly entertainment.
Santa’s Circus Grotto:

Giant Ferris Wheel and Kids Funfair:
“The Tallaght Eye” returns! A family favourite every year, enjoy spectacular views across Dublin on the sparking 35m Panoramic Ferris Wheel before continuing the magic with all the fun of the fair in Level 3 car park. With rides for all ages including Sea Storm, Trampolines and Toy Set Carousel and the new Helter Skelter, it is not to be missed!
4D Virtual Reality Santa’s Sleigh:

The Greatest Showman: Movies@TheSquare:
Opened just this year, the plush new cinema with family friendly prices is showing special screenings of The Greatest Showman in the Kids Club starting Sat 26th / Sun 27th November with tickets just €3 for kids and adults alike. After the film, continue the circus theme fun around the centre with the free Saturday circus shows and many other attractions.
Free Weekly Entertainment:
Tick off your Christmas shopping list while keeping the kids entertained with free weekly activities including Thursday Treats, circus performers and free treats from 6pm to 8pm, as well as Saturday Circus Themed Shows every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm outside Movies@theSquare.
Big celebrations are fitting after a successful year for the shopping centre, with the arrival of the new 13 screen Movies@TheSquare cinema, a brand new 43,400sq ft Penneys opened in September, with more to come including Krispy Kreme opening this December.
