Santa and his elves are returning once again to The Santa Village at Mount Juliet Kilkenny from 4th to 23rd December.

Our interactive theatrical production promises to be packed full of Christmas wonder and magic. Can you think of anybody who would like to make this magical trip?

 

Tickets for our experience are now on sale. Children €17.50 (including a present) and adults €12.50. Early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

Our hour-long theatrical production is filled with wonder and awe and begins with the children writing that all important letter with some entertaining elves. But we can’t stay too long as Mrs. Claus will be waiting to meet everyone in her gingerbread kitchen. The journey continues with a quick check of our naughty and nice list with some cheeky elves who pave the way for the arrival of our train driver, Kris Kindle, announcing “All aboard the Santa Train. The train winds its way through the mystical forest to where Rudolph and his friends are playing but watch out for a sneaky peek of the toy workshop along the way.

But wait there is even more follow the enchanted pathway to Santa’s grotto where the man himself will be waiting to meet each family individually with a very special present for all the good children. The experience doesn’t end there! Sit back and relax and soak up the Christmas atmosphere in our festive restaurant makes for a perfect end to a super festive experience.

And a visit to our Christmas Shop is a must for last minute gifts while the children can have some fun in our North Pole inspired frosted snow play area.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and the elves are all really looking forward to meeting you and your family for this magical experience.

We recommend that you arrive about 30 minutes before you are due to meet Santa, but you will have the use of all of the facilities on the farm from when you arrive for as long as you wish to stay

SANTA’S PLAYLAND & INDOOR MARKET – A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS PARADISE

OPENS SATURDAY DECEMBER 6TH AT THE AMBASSADOR THEATRE

One of this Christmas’ biggest events is here!

 Santa’s Playland & Indoor Market has taken up residence at The Ambassador Theatre, Dublin in preparation for this year’s festive season. Opening Saturday, December 6th at 10am the spectacular event runs until Tuesday, December 23rd.

And the great news is adults go free and there is no queuing for Santa!

Santa’s Playland transports children to a magical Christmas paradise. On entering Santa’s Playland children will be treated to a special Christmas play time. The Play Area is full of Christmas treats with bouncy castles, slides and Christmas displays.

This year Santa introduces his Indoor Christmas Market!

Of course, any visit to Santa’s Playland would not be complete without an audience with the Big Man himself and everyone will have the chance to chat to Santa and share their hopes and desires for Christmas presents. Every child will receive a present from Santa.

The Ark presents The Henry Girls in a festive music show celebrating some of the things we love to do and see when the world turns white.

Follow the heavenly harmonies of The Henry Girls into an enchanting world of winter. From sparkling icicles to wolves in the forest, the joy of sledding at high speed or the wonder of the Aurora Borealis on a frosty night, discover the magic and mysteries of the festive season in a music performance made for children.

And just what did make those tracks in the snow? Find out as the band’s playful humour and trademark folk and trad melodies bring to life some of the things that we love to do and see when the world turns white.

Tracks in the Snow has been commissioned and produced by The Ark as we continue to work with artists to create high-quality live music experiences crafted especially for young audiences.

This phenomenally popular show, The Snowman Movie comes to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre following its sellout success in recent years. A magical concert designed for all the family, Raymond Briggs’s captivating film has established itself as part of the Christmas festivities for young and old,  accompanied by Howard Blake’s score played live by the Irish Philharmonic Orchestra. Suitable for young children, this is an opportunity for the whole family to share the magic of Christmas. Featuring Walking in the Air, and a selection of popular Christmas Songs, bring your jingle bells, wear your fancy dress, and make sure you book early!

Shay Byrne (RTÉ Radio 1’s Risin’ Time) will tell the story of James and the flying snowman as you watch the film on the big screen. This family Christmas show will also feature a carols sing along with special guest and seasonal favourites from the talented children of FACT, Showtime and Junior Musicals theatre schools, adding to the spirit and excitement of Christmas. There may also be a surprise a visit from Santa!

Waterford & Suir Valley Railway

When you arrive at Kilmeadan Station (Waterford & Suir Valley Railway) you will board the train. The conductor will check your train tickets and give you red blankets to keep you nice and cosy on the journey. Christmas music will be playing.

When everyone is safely on board the train will set off on an exciting journey through the countryside along the banks of the River Suir and in to the Magic Wood where you will meet Mrs Claus and some friends. Mrs Claus will give the children magic dust to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas night. The train journey lasts about 25 minutes.

You then return to the station, go through the Carriage shop to visit Santa as a family. Santa is in a cosy cottage outside the carriage. It snows outside Santa’s Cottage. The children will have a nice chat with Santa and get a good quality present. Photos are optional at €5.00

To entertain you at the station before or after your trip you can meet the Mayfield Birds of Prey – They have beautiful barn owls – Boo, Bobbins, Muffin, Peanut and Hiccup or you could meet Izzy the Bengal Eagle Owl or a magnificent Harris Hawk.

Hot chocolate, tea, coffee and snack will be available in the Carriage shop and at Mrs Claus’s Hot Chocolate stand.
