Birthday Parties at the newly opened Malahide Play Centre are a superb treat. You can book your party any day of the week as the centre is open Monday thru Sunday 10am – 6pm.
Each party lasts for 2 hours. The 1st hour is used to explore the centre play-frame. The 2nd hour takes place in the party room where children will be entertained by their very own party host. Party food needs to be booked in advance. Adults can bring their own special birthday cake, if they wish, or one can be ordered.
New for 2016 – we now offer superhero themed birthday parties with the option for children to wear our superhero capes and we have also renovated 2 brand new party rooms, giving space for more party bookings while also extending our coffee dock and seating area for parents.

OWLS Survival Birthday Parties – Dublin can now be booked offering a fun day out for your children and something that your child and their friends are sure to remember for a long time. Ideal for kids who love being outdoors, the OWLS Survival Party is a great adventure to offer children and their friends. They’ll have 2 hours of fun in the outdoors, with the opportunity to play and create for themselves but also learning about their surroundings. It all takes place under the careful supervision of OWLS leaders and children’s parents.
OWLS Survival Birthday Parties – Dublin
The parties are based on the theme of survival and incorporate education, awareness, team building and enjoyment. The group are given a challenge to build shelters using natural materials, light a fire to toast marshmallows or cook popcorn and also be sure that their team wins the forest games. Teams must survive by hiding within their shelter or how about capturing a person from the other team? It’s all great fun and the group finish the experience with cooked popcorn and singing around the campfire.
Leaders are Gardai vetted and follow strict guidelines when working with children. For each event, at least one leader is first aid trained.

Sites: As this is an outdoor service, there is an option of two sites. Fitzsimon’s Wood, Dundrum (Southside) or Turvey Park, Donabate (Northside).
The OWLS leaders will provide the resources to run the event. The childrens’ parents / guardians may provide refreshments should they wish to. From experience, most guardians bring along snacks, drinks and we finish off the party with a cake.
Fees; For the first 15 children €150, there after €250. Other facilities: There are no toilets at either location although we can hire day porto loos, but this will add to the cost. Portaloos are €100 a day to hire.

Hundreds of children have celebrated their birthdays at Zipit, but, it’s not just for the kids. Zipit is a great way to mark those significant milestones, whether it’s an official entry to adulthood, a key to the door, or a life begins at 40 to mention a few, let’s not limit ourselves. So, whether you are a child or an adult, join us for a unique day that will stay with you forever.
A 30 – 45 minute instruction session is required, before you can move on through the circuits, so if you only have 2 hours to spend, you really will only get one circuit completed. Allow the time to make your day so much more enjoyable.
Zipit Children’s Birthday Parties
When booking a birthday for a group of 10 or more under 12’s, the birthday girl/boy will get a free t-shirt or alternative gift. With the activity lasting 3 – 4 hours, you will need to allow extra time for food / cake. We do not have café facilities on site at Zipit, only drinks, chocolate and crisps. But you are welcome to bring along your own food / drink and use our tables and chairs at our outdoor decking area, outside the cabin. There are also picnic benches scattered around the parks.
Zipit Birthday Parties for Under 9
7 – 8-year old’s can complete the green circuit only, but can go around as many times as they want within their allocated time. It’s a fairly “hands-on” party for supervisors and the bigger the group, the more you will be in demand! We advise a maximum number of 15 if all the children are 7-8.

Supervision for Childrens’s Birthday Party
All children under 18 must be supervised. The bigger the group, the more supervisors required. A supervisor must be able to see all of the children under their care, all of the time. So, if you have 10 children, you would need at least 2 supervisors, maybe more if the children are different ages, in case they split onto different circuits. When booking your party for a group of 16 or more, you will need to contact Head Office on 051 858008 and we can advise you about supervision for your group.
All participants are given a short training session, and we have intructors all around the park, should the children need help.
