Viking Splash School Tours is a great way to see the sights of Dublin – both on land and water! Travelling on board our Amphibious World War II vehicles (DUKWs) you are taken on a spellbinding tour of Dublin. Our costumed Viking Tour Guides ensure you not only hear the history of Viking Dublin, but also pass by sights such as St Patricks and Christchurch cathedrals, Trinity College, Government Buildings and Georgian Dublin. The climax of the tour sees our Viking DUKWs splash into the water at the newly developed Grand Canal Docklands where the recording studio of U2 and much more are explored.

School Tours generally depart from Bull Alley St. Occasionally, based on tour schedules, we may move your departure/drop off point to St Stephens Green.

Start your action packed day with an exhilarating and educational tour of Dublin by land and water!  The interactive Viking Guides will give a full commentary as you pass by all of the interesting sights in the City before splashing into The Grand Canal Basin!

Glasnevin Cemetery Museum Tour

Glasnevin Cemetery Museum offers an engaging and entertaining education programme for schools. We offer a wonderful tour of the cemetery where you can learn about people and periods of recent Irish history. On a tour you will explore the crypt of Daniel O’Connell, visit the graves of Charles Stewart Parnell, Michael Collins, Eamon DeValera, Jim Larkin, Ann Devlin, Countess Markievicz and many more, while learning about life in 19^th and 20^th Century Ireland.

Glasnevin Cemetery Museum offers an exciting interactive exhibition highlighting the story of those buried within the cemetery. Visit and relive the momentous events that helped to shape a nation. We are a unique site of remembering through which you can examine the decade of commemorations. Our aim is to capture the imagination and send your class away inspired.

Duration: Viking Splash Tour – one hour and 15 mins. Glasnevin Cemetery Museum Tour – 1 hour and 15 mins. Groups also have access to the museum as part of the visit, it’s self-guided and up to you how long to spend there (30 minutes is recommended). The approximate transit time by coach between the two locations is 30 – 40 minutes.

Wooly Farm Dublin School Tours offer visitors a special experience. Up to 3 hours of action packed activities. Each group allocated a team leader who will guide you around the farm. Let the children be educated & entertained at the same time! Our latest attraction is the Reptile Lab. Meet Axel & Rose the Pythons among others!

Wooly Farm Dublin School Tours

Mary, Cathal & their family set up Wooly Ward’s Farm in 2011 when they saw the level of interest people and children had with farm animals. Known as Wooly Farm since late 2017, over previous years they have put three mobile farms on the road, opened up their own farm for private parties and events and entertained thousands of people with their animal theatre and petting zoo. They have built up a highly trained team of young and energetic staff of approx 30 who work alongside Mary, Cathal, daughters Amy & Laura and son Rob

Staff have backgrounds in Childcare, Drama, Tourism, Food Science, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary to name but a few. All staff undergoes First Aid Training, Animal Handling & customer service on an ongoing basis.

Mary’s Farm has been in the Ward Family for over 400 years and her parents both in their nineties still live on the farm. The farm has primarily been involved in sheep, beef & tillage over the years.

Mary’s background is in Agriculture having studied both in Ireland & Europe in her formative years.

As well as animal knowledge Mary & Cathal have a wealth of experience with children, having reared 7 little darlings – 4 girls and 3 boys!
