Take a Ride on the Fright Side with The Ghostbus
Step inside the world’s first and original Ghostbus and be transported into a world of ghostly happenings, comedy horror, and terrifying histories. The new Ghostbus will drive you into your nightmares, taking in some of Dublin’s most haunting sights along the way. Visit the Hellfire Clubroom and haunted museum downstairs, and play a hand of cards with the devil himself. Next take your seat upstairs in the Victorian Theatre with its blood red velvet curtains and begin a thrilling ride tracing Dublin’s creepiest mysteries. You will be led through this ordeal by a sinister guide and driver, two men in tune with the afterlife, who will do their best to put you at your unease.
Did you know that Dublin was home to one of horror fiction’s most famous names: Dracula author, Bram Stoker? Your creepy host will give you an unnerving insight into his origins as the tour creeps through Dublin’s darkened streets. At the College of Surgeons, a certain Dr. Clossey is still said to roam the corridors carrying a bucket of human entrails.
Having heard some twisted tales aboard the Ghostbus get ready for a lesson in grave robbing and bodysnatching in the grisly surroundings of the haunted graveyard. More grizzly dealings are unleashed at the 12th Century St. Audeon’s Church, where the ghost of Darky Kelly, the madame of Dublin’s notorious Maiden Tower is said to wander restlessly. Designed to spook your imagination, the spine-tingling, nerve-racking DoDublin Ghostbus Tour will be a journey of hair-raising frights you will never forget.

Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 7pm and 9.30pm
- Tours are provided in English only and last for two hours
- The tour may not suit people of a nervous disposition.
- The DoDublin Ghostbus Tour is suitable for 14yrs and over. Under 16yrs must be accompanied by adult.
- The DoDublin Ghostbus Tour begins at Dublin Bus Headquarters at O’Connell Street.
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible
- The tour does not operate on a Sunday and Bank Holidays
- The tour operates in a wide variety of weather conditions. Please dress appropriately

Ghostbus Kids Tour
Dublin’s Newest and Spookiest Children’s Attraction
The Ghostbus Kids Tour is running throughout Halloween Mid-Term from 25 October 2025 to 3 November 2025.
Climb aboard Dublin’s spookiest bus – The Dublin Ghostbus – for a kid’s adventure that they’ll never forget. Uncover the dark and horrible side of Dublin’s history and learn of gruesome tales about Dublin’s most infamous fiends;
- Hear of Mad William and his acquired taste… for human brains!
- Listen to the story of Dublin’s Count Dracula
- Discover the spine-chilling secrets of the infamous Dublin Bodysnatchers
- Learn the terrifying history of Misery Hill and why its name is so apt.
The Ghostbus Tour for kids (starring Dr Ghastly) is aimed at children aged 7-14.
The tour storyteller; Dr Ghastly is a professional actor who will keep you and your kids entertained throughout and make it a memorable day for all!
While the tour does touch on the darker side of Dublin’s past, it also focuses on fun and entertainment, and is not too scary!

Duration: Approx. 90 minutes
Tour Depart: from Bus Stop 271 (Stop 3 on the DoDublin Hop on Hop off Tour) located beside the O`Connell St & Abbey St junction

- Warning; strobe lighting may be used during tour
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible
- Seat belts are provided and must be worn throughout the tour
- At least one adult must accompany groups of up to 6 kids
- The tour has been designed for kids aged 7-14 and has been designed to be more fun than scary, however it may not be suitable for children of a sensitive nature.
