The Rink Roller Disco offer family friendly fun, birthday parties, great dance and fitness classes and Ireland’s favourite roller skating rink. Our 4,500 square foot roller disco is perfect for nights out with friends, children’s birthday parties or as a fun way to keep fit. Don’t worry if you’ve never skated before, as we offer lessons for beginners and always have plenty of staff on hand to help. Based in Finches Business Park, just off the Longmile Road in Dublin 12, we have something to offer for all ages.

Our birthday parties will provide you with a party you’ll never forget. Midweek sessions are now 90 minutes, weekend sessions are 120 minutes. We have skating, we have food and most importantly, we have fun. Our roller skating birthday parties with food are suitable for children over 6 years of age. Prices are just €18/€20 per child and include the following:

Birthday Parties at Squirrel’s Scramble Wicklow

If you want your child’s birthday party to go down in history as the most epic party of all time!! Then Squirrel’s Scramble is your answer.

Come to Squirrel’s Scramble for a legendary birthday party your child will remember!

Your group (all participants must be min age 8 years) will have an hour and a half of zipping and swinging through the trees followed by half an hour in one of our sheltered party areas with wooden seats and tables. We don’t cater for food or drink but can highly recommend the food stalls at the Killruddery Farm Market (Saturdays only). All known local pizza places deliver to us and you are more than welcome to bring your own food as well if you like.

Exciting Fun for all the Family at Killruddery House and Gardens. Experience the wonderful natural forest with more than 40 different challenges to climb, balance, slide and crawl. Zoom along the zip lines through narrow passages in the woods for a thrilling adventure!

Squirrel’s Scramble was built in 2014, by the Wicklow based company PascoeLang in Killruddery House and Gardens, Bray.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQS

Q: How do I book?

Click on the book now button at the top of this page. Booking birthday parties is no different from making an ordinary booking. All groups can avail of our party areas, no need to reserve them.

Q: How long does it last?

1.5 hours on the course and a half hour in the party area.

Q: Do I need to reserve a party area?

No, it is not necessary to reserve the party areas, we have 4 to choose from.

Q: What if there’s bad weather?

We operate in all weather conditions except yellow wind warnings. If there’s a yellow wind warning, we’ll reschedule your booking. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Q: I’m not sure of exact numbers?

Book an approximate number, if you have one or two more or less that’s ok, we’ll either reimburse you if you let us know 48 hours before your booking or you can pay for 1 or 2 extra on site on the day by cash or card. Please note as per our booking t&cs we do not offer refunds or rescheduling after 48 hours prior to your start time.

Q: Do you cater for food?

Nope, we don’t offer food. But you’ve got some choices: bring your own or order from the Pizza Shed at Killruddery and get a free pizza for the birthday person(s). Lots of other pizza places deliver on site too. On Saturdays, check out Killruddery’s farmer’s market for more grub options. Or, you can always go to their restaurant and coffee shop. For Pizza Shed’s menu, head to pizza.killruddery.com/.

Q: I can only book in 20 kids but I have more than that coming…

You can book into two time slots. Each time slot can only accommodate up to 20 people, but if you have a group of more than 20 people, you can book into the next time slot and we will refund you the difference so you can still get the group rate.

Q: Can I get the other parents to sign a waiver for their own kids?

Yes you can, you will find all our waivers here they can print one out, sign it and give it to you to bring on the day.

Q: Can I add archery?

Yes you can, it will add an extra hour onto your time, and an extra €4 per person, min charge €48. To book archery go ahead and make your booking for Squirrel’s Scramble and then email us with your booking number at info@squirrelsscramble.ie to request archery and make payment. Groups for archery are maximum size 15 and minimum age 10.

Q: Can I bring a barbeque?

Unfortunately not, for safety and insurance reasons.

Q: Will there be an instructor to look after our group?

There will be instructors looking after all customers at Squirrel’s Scramble but not assigned individually to one group. Parents/guardians must supervise the kids in the group.

Q: Is there an age limit for birthday parties?

Yes there is, birthday parties at Squirrel’s Scramble are for age 8+. Every child 7 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult each in gear on the course. We recommend having 9th birthday parties with us.

Willowbrook Glamping & Hideaways is a picturesque glamping & camping park on the banks of the river Lung, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon. We have got a little bit of paradise here, and we are delighted to be able to share it with you.

One of the services we offer at Willowbrook is our children’s birthday party service where we provide the venue (our 1000 square foot Dojo hall) themed decorations, a children’s entertainer (or 2 for larger parties), and food for the children. Parents of guest children are welcome to leave the children in our capable hands during the party, or if they wish to stay on site, free tea and coffee are available in the waiting room.

Parties are in 2 hour slots and must be booked in advance.

Are you and your family farm lovers? Why not have a Caragh Open Farm birthday party!

What do you get?  

“The normal stay is 2 hours.  We are mindful to keep the cost of parties down so we don’t supply food, you can bring all your own food/drinks/cakes/ utensils etc. Food can be ordered from local chip shop/pizzeria.  We will reserve a bench for you. The children get to hold whatever baby animals we have and also get a bucket of feed to go around the whole farm and feed the rest of the animals”.

We have playgrounds throughout the farm (Climbing wall for small children, slides, treehouse, windmill slide, see-saw, obstacle course, 5 a side soccer pitch, hay barn where they can jump from bail to bail, go karts, bikes etc.) The children will also get a free pony ride during the party.

We have 2 large indoor benches where the children can eat their lunch.  Contact Siobhan on 087 6957306 to book your party.  We do charge €5 for any adults attending (2 go FOC) as it is a different experience to indoor party venues.  We always give a discount for large groups of adults.

About Caragh Open Farm :

Caragh Open Farm is run by Ferghal and Siobhan Malone. It is a family run business spread over 6 acres.  It was once a working farm but we decided to diversify into the Open Farm as we noticed a gap in the market.  Since opening our doors in June 2011 we have grown from strength to strength increasing our animal numbers to nearly 30 different types and also our playgrounds for children.

We are easy to find situated close to Naas and Newbridge in Co. Kildare – about a 40 minute drive from Dublin, 30 mins from Portlaoise.  We have a large carpark that can accommodate both cars and buses.  Our farm is buggy and wheel chair friendly with paths that are easy to navigate.

As well as the pet farm we offer a lovely scenic walk for the whole family to enjoy.  Family outings are what make childhood memories so don’t forget the camera!  The most frequent compliment we receive is that we are warm, friendly and helpful and that the farm is not over commercialised.  We are mindful of costs especially for bigger families, so we encourage picnics.
