Welcome to Kids In Motion Birthdays where your birthday child and their guests get the whole gym to themselves for a fun filled 2 hours. During this time they will be fully supervised and entertained with games & activities by 2 of our lovely trained coaches. you also have a great spacious party eating area upstairs where you can bring in hot food or have it delivered over. Complimentary drinks are provided for the children and teas & coffees for the adults.

Cost is €15 per child with a minimum of 12 children, max 40 children. 10% discount for members!

Our aim is to provide a carefree environment for children to enjoy exercise and gymnastics without the pressure of competition. We want every child to leave our venue with a boost of confidence feeling good about themselves and what they have achieved in class. Social interaction is extremely important for children and we do a lot of partner and team work so they can make friends for life.

Birthday Parties at Squirrel’s Scramble Wicklow

If you want your child’s birthday party to go down in history as the most epic party of all time!! Then Squirrel’s Scramble is your answer.

Come to Squirrel’s Scramble for a legendary birthday party your child will remember!

Your group (all participants must be min age 8 years) will have an hour and a half of zipping and swinging through the trees followed by half an hour in one of our sheltered party areas with wooden seats and tables. We don’t cater for food or drink but can highly recommend the food stalls at the Killruddery Farm Market (Saturdays only). All known local pizza places deliver to us and you are more than welcome to bring your own food as well if you like.

Exciting Fun for all the Family at Killruddery House and Gardens. Experience the wonderful natural forest with more than 40 different challenges to climb, balance, slide and crawl. Zoom along the zip lines through narrow passages in the woods for a thrilling adventure!

Squirrel’s Scramble was built in 2014, by the Wicklow based company PascoeLang in Killruddery House and Gardens, Bray.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQS

Q: How do I book?

Click on the book now button at the top of this page. Booking birthday parties is no different from making an ordinary booking. All groups can avail of our party areas, no need to reserve them.

Q: How long does it last?

1.5 hours on the course and a half hour in the party area.

Q: Do I need to reserve a party area?

No, it is not necessary to reserve the party areas, we have 4 to choose from.

Q: What if there’s bad weather?

We operate in all weather conditions except yellow wind warnings. If there’s a yellow wind warning, we’ll reschedule your booking. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Q: I’m not sure of exact numbers?

Book an approximate number, if you have one or two more or less that’s ok, we’ll either reimburse you if you let us know 48 hours before your booking or you can pay for 1 or 2 extra on site on the day by cash or card. Please note as per our booking t&cs we do not offer refunds or rescheduling after 48 hours prior to your start time.

Q: Do you cater for food?

Nope, we don’t offer food. But you’ve got some choices: bring your own or order from the Pizza Shed at Killruddery and get a free pizza for the birthday person(s). Lots of other pizza places deliver on site too. On Saturdays, check out Killruddery’s farmer’s market for more grub options. Or, you can always go to their restaurant and coffee shop. For Pizza Shed’s menu, head to pizza.killruddery.com/.

Q: I can only book in 20 kids but I have more than that coming…

You can book into two time slots. Each time slot can only accommodate up to 20 people, but if you have a group of more than 20 people, you can book into the next time slot and we will refund you the difference so you can still get the group rate.

Q: Can I get the other parents to sign a waiver for their own kids?

Yes you can, you will find all our waivers here they can print one out, sign it and give it to you to bring on the day.

Q: Can I add archery?

Yes you can, it will add an extra hour onto your time, and an extra €4 per person, min charge €48. To book archery go ahead and make your booking for Squirrel’s Scramble and then email us with your booking number at info@squirrelsscramble.ie to request archery and make payment. Groups for archery are maximum size 15 and minimum age 10.

Q: Can I bring a barbeque?

Unfortunately not, for safety and insurance reasons.

Q: Will there be an instructor to look after our group?

There will be instructors looking after all customers at Squirrel’s Scramble but not assigned individually to one group. Parents/guardians must supervise the kids in the group.

Q: Is there an age limit for birthday parties?

Yes there is, birthday parties at Squirrel’s Scramble are for age 8+. Every child 7 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult each in gear on the course. We recommend having 9th birthday parties with us.

The Stables is a family run business, based on their farm, just outside of Gorey, Co. Wexford.

In 2011, they converted one of the old Stables into a Personal Training Studio in order to diversify the farming business. They saw the beautiful old building and the location of the farm as an opportunity to attract people to a less conventional gym setting, whilst still providing a high quality training environment.
