Easter at Caragh Open Farm Kildare

Caragh Open Farm Easter Eggstravaganza 2024

“Hoppy Days!” It’s one of our favourite times of year at Caragh Open Farm.  Our Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March. Join the Easter Bunny, Sesame Street’s Big Bird and many other animals for this special Easter Event. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will tell you about the hunt and what you need to do to find the Easter Bunny’s Head Quarters and to receive your Easter Egg. In order to receive your egg, you will need to say hello to the chicks and bunnies, pet the lambs, hop through the obstacle course (no walking allowed!), find the magical windmill, be careful of the Troll living under the red bridge.  If you complete the trail and find the Easter bunny you will receive your Easter Egg.  You and your family can then take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

We also have our farm Café where you can enjoy hot food, treats and drinks.

About Us

Caragh Open Farm is a family run Open Farm in Caragh, Naas, Co Kildare. The farm is spread over approx. 5 acres. It was once a working farm but we decided to diversify into the Open Farm as we noticed a gap in the market.  Since opening our doors in June 2011 we have grown from strength to strength increasing our animal numbers to nearly 30 different types.  In July 2021 we opened our Café which can seat up to 30 people.

As well as the pet farm we offer a lovely scenic walk for the whole family to enjoy.  Family outings are what make childhood memories so don’t forget the camera!  The most frequent compliment we receive is that we are warm, friendly and helpful and that the farm is not over commercialised.
