  2. A non refundable deposit of €100 must be paid within 7 days of the booking by cheque, cash or card. The balance is paid on arrival when numbers are finalised.
  3. All groups must be booked in advance of their visit through the Sales Office.
  4. Ensure every member of your group has €1 coin for lockers – refundable.

Group Bookings:

  • In order to benefit from a special group rate of €10 per person a group booking is considered 20+ people.
  • 1 Guardian / Teacher go free with every 10 in the group.
  • A minimum ratio of 1 adult to every 20 children in the group for children aged 11+ is required. This designated adult is required to supervise the group poolside at all times.
  • A minimum ratio of 1 adult to every 10 children in the group for children aged 9 -10 is required. This designated adult is required to supervise the group poolside at all times.
  • Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult
  • For families and small groups:
    • “For children aged 0 – 8 a minimum of 1 adult is to accompany every 2 children in the water and for each child who is 3 years of age and under we further recommend that a dedicated adult be in attendance in the water for each child”
  • It is recommended that all under 5’s (those aged 1 to 4) wear floatation devices (e.g. arm bands) while in the AQUAZONE or Competition pool.
  • Prices and times may change at Management’s discretion.
  • Unsure every member of your group has €1 coin for lockers – refundable.
  • No spectators are permitted poolside either in AquaZone or the Competition Pool.
  • No food is to be consumed outside of Restaurant area.
  • Customers cannot exit pool hall (e.g. to café) and then return to pool.
  • Swim hats are compulsory in all water areas.
  • AQUAZONE features and flumes may operate on a rotational basis, where necessary, at management’s discretion.
  • The Competition Pool depth and features may vary depending on the time of day and the general activity program of the complex. Pool configuration may also change outside the published schedule at management’s discretion. Patrons are strongly advised to check these features and ensure that they are comfortable with both the depth and configuration of the pool before entering.

Butlers Chocolates began life in Dublin’s Lad Lane in 1932.  The company was founded by a pioneering lady called Marion Butler who named her luxury chocolate creations Chez Nous Chocolates. Marion established the company in the heart of fashionable Georgian Dublin, making her delicious confections by hand.

The Ultimate School Tour – Stadium Tour & Viking Splash Tour

The GAA Museum and Viking Splash Tours have teamed up once again for the ‘Ultimate School Tour’ special offer. The package includes a guided tour of Croke Park, a visit to the GAA Museum and a Viking Splash Tour from just €17 per child.

The behind-the-scenes tour of Croke Park allows children to walk in the footsteps of their GAA heroes as they visit the dressing rooms, players’ lounge, VIP area and pitch-side in the stadium. A visit to the GAA Museum includes access to the interactive games area where children can practice their football, hurling and camogie skills.

Primary school groups will also enjoy a Viking Splash sightseeing tour of Dublin in a special amphibious vehicle. Dublinia is a visitor attraction in the heart of Dublin city beside Christchurch Cathedral. The visitor centre is a walk through series of exhibitions, detailing 2 periods in Irish history – the Vikings and Medieval Dublin. The History Hunters exhibition is a fascinating glimpse into the world of archaeology and historical study.

Dublinia Education

The curriculum based primary school tour is age and ability specific ensuring classes get an individually tailored educational experience. Students are guided by the costumed guides through the Viking, Medieval and/or History Hunters exhibitions.

Secondary school groups are guided through the Medieval Dublin and History Hunters exhibitions, with an introduction based in the Viking exhibition. The secondary school tours are all curriculum based and multi-sensory tours delivered by a costumed guide. Dublinia include 1st and 2nd year Junior cycle history, 3rd year History Revision tours, Transition Year tours and also Geography tours.

Are you interested in booking a fun day out for your students that will incorporate a number of
different aspects of the primary school physical education curriculum?

We are a new indoor activity centre located in Blanchardstown Dublin 15.You don’t have to worry
about the weather!

Overall aim for the day is to provide students with learning opportunities through a diverse range
of physical activity while developing a number of different fundamental motor and social skills.
Ultimately we want students to associate positive emotions with physical activity and movement,
leading to a lifelong positive attitude towards physical activity.

This aim will be achieved through three main strands of the primary school curriculum: dance, games
and adventure activities.

 

Learning Outcomes for the day :

  • Develop strength, speed and endurance through engaging in physical activity.
  • Perform dance with confidence and competence.
  • Develop alertness control, balance and co-ordination through movement and games.
  • Interact and co-operate with other class mates through team challenges and adventures.

Our Facilities:

  • 3 levels of interactive play equipment – including slides, ball pools, rope climbs, hopscotch etc. Where children can develop their skills in touch, sight and exercise.

Education Weeks

As part of our commitment to primary school S.T.E.A.M education, Imaginosity is proud to be part of the annual national celebrations of Science, Maths and Engineering through Science Week, Maths Week and Engineers Week. As part of these celebrations the museum hosts a diverse and interesting programme of daily events throughout these weeks where school groups can explore, discover and experiment in a way that they would be unable to do in school.

Engineers Week 29th of February to the 4th of March 2016

Workshops are suitable for children from Junior Infants to Second Class.

€6 per child for 2 hours, split between fun on the museum floor and a DPSM accredited workshop.

The required ratio of adults attend for free.

Our adult to child ratio for schools is 1 adult for every 10 children.

What are the lunch options:

A school lunch menu is available from the coffee shop. This includes sandwich, cookie and a drink. To organise this you can contact Carmen from the coffee shop directly at 087 2705999.

A lunch room is available to hire for €0.50 extra per child in which you can eat your own food. The lunchroom must be used during your 2 hour visit and must be organised with Imaginosity in advance of your visit.

There are benches available outside the building to use as a picnic area before or after your visit, weather permitting.

Information for Preschool Groups

Imaginosity is a perfect place for a preschool visit. Each exhibit is designed to be played with and investigated. The emphasis is on role play and imagination giving each child the freedom to explore at their own pace.

Looking for somewhere new and exciting to visit for your school tour this year? Malahide Play Centre is newly opened since April 2015 and offers 3 floors of fun-filled play equipment, including 3 large slides, a ball pit, trampoline, rope climbs and lots more for the kids to explore.

Glasnevin Cemetery Museum offers an engaging and entertaining education programme for schools. We offer a wonderful tour of the cemetery where you can learn about people and periods of recent Irish history. On a tour you will explore the crypt of Daniel O’Connell, visit the graves of Charles Stewart Parnell, Michael Collins, Eamon DeValera, Jim Larkin, Ann Devlin, Countess Markievicz and many more, while learning about life in 19th and 20th Century Ireland.
