Huckleberry’s Den is located upstairs at The Zone Activity Centre in Mullaghboy Ind Estate. Your child’s time here at Huckleberry’s Den is not just lots of fun, children are physically active by crawling, climbing and exploring our fully padded structure. Watch as their confidence grows on various levels each time they come back. 

We strive to keep YOUR time here as comfortable as possible with our Hucks Café serving delicious coffee, and extensive menu including Scones, sandwiches, hot food and cold drinks. We use only the best ingredients and when it comes to our bread, meats and salads we always buy fresh…yum! We also have a bowling alley so the whole family can get involved and have fun. Huckleberry’s is a fun place for birthday’s or meeting friends.

A €50 min deposit is required on all party bookings. Your deposit is non refundable and is only transferable to another date if for some reason you need to cancel. 

Only purchased cakes either from ourselves or a shop bought cake is permitted. No home made cakes are allowed.

Please ensure you let us know if there are any allergies among your guests as this is very important and we will more than likely be able to accommodate you as we carry many foods for dietary requirements!

The Steeplechase is a 5km obstacle course, designed to excite people of all ages. Immerse in the outdoors and bring out your inner adventurer during this fun filled pursuit.  

With a firm emphasis on having a good time, there are 30 exciting obstacles to enjoy, in the presence of fully qualified and highly experienced fitness instructors.  

 Experience a memorable team building event for your sports club/ school, or enjoy a private party/family tour (suitable for kids and adults from 5 years upwards).

 €22 per head for a 2 hour experience (€220 minimum charge).
This includes 1.5 hours around the obstacle course (guided by instructors) and 30 mins to use the party barn for an after event celebration.

The Stables is a family run business, based on their farm, just outside of Gorey, Co. Wexford.  

In 2011, they converted one of the old Stables into a Personal Training Studio in order to diversify the farming business. They saw the beautiful old building and the location of the farm as an opportunity to attract people to a less conventional gym setting, whilst still providing a high quality training environment.

A visit to Scattery is like no other school tour!

Primary School Tours

The excitement begins as we exit the marina through the huge lock gates! The children will watch in wonder as the powerful water flows in and out of the gates. Once out on the estuary, it is just a short 15 minute sailing to the island as the children spot the various wildlife on route.

During the sailing, we will give each child a special treasure trail map colouring page, which includes information on the rabbits and birds they will learn about on the island.

On arrival, our tour guides will take the children on a spellbinding tour of the island’s monastic sites, where they will learn all about St. Senan and his battle against the monster Cathaigh.

After the guided tour, the children have a further 1.5 hours to enjoy their packed lunch and explore the southern end of the island where the lighthouse and Napoleonic artillery battery are located!

Scattery offers a safe playground and a fascinating learning experience for these young minds!

Located just off Kilrush in Co. Clare, Scattery Island is a wonderful monastic settlement founded by St. Senan in the 5th century. The island features five churches, a cathedral, one of only two round towers in Ireland with the door at the ground floor level, St. Senan’s well with its healing powers, a Napoleonic artillery battery and a working lighthouse.
